Yes, the 2021 Kia Sorento does offer a towing package on the EX, SX and SX-Prestige models that have the 2.5-liter GDI 4-cylinder turbo engine that produces 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque and has 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. In contrast, the previous generation Sorento did offer 5,000 pounds of towing capacity. However, you do get a trailer package standard on all of the 2.5L turbo models that include a trailer wiring harness.
The 2021 Kia Sorento offers three other engine options that include the 2.5-liter GDI 4-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower and 182 lb.-ft. of torque and powers the LX and S trims. The hybrid has a 1.6-liter GDI 4-cylinder Turbo Hybrid with 44 kW electric motor that produces 227 horsepower while the plug-in hybrid, coming for 2021, is powered by a 1.6-liter GDI 4-cylinder Turbo Plug-in Hybrid with 66.9 kW electric motor that produces 261 horsepower. These three engines each have a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.
So, while the towing capacity did lower significantly from the previous generation Sorento, you still have 3,500 pounds of towing capacity to work with on the 2021 Kia Sorento with the turbo engine.
